Accounting for the party MLAs, NCP leader Nawab Malik said five of the total 54 MLAs were not in touch with the party while six others were on their way to Mumbai. Remaining (43) MLAs have reached Mumbai). Malik said: "On the basis of numbers we have, we will defeat the govt in the election of Speaker itself. After which Sena-Congress-NCP will form the govt."
