Ajit Pawar got himself crowned as deputy chief minister of Maharashtra by attempting to split the NCP founded by his uncle Sharad Pawar. The move came as a shock to many. It is speculated that Ajit Pawar was upset that his name for deputy CM was brought up late by NCP.
