The identity of people of J&K is neither at stake nor tampered with after the abrogation of the state's special status, governor Satya Pal Malik assured on Thursday after hoisting the national flag on the 73rd Independence Day. Terming the changes introduced by the Centre "historical", Malik said they will open a door of development in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
