When asked whether the prosecutor will appeal against the verdict, he said, “No. Why should the government file an appeal? It makes no sense.” He also ruled out any fresh investigation into the Samjhauta blast. “NIA had probed the matter. Only after that they filed a chargesheet. Now that the court judgment is out, one has to rely on that.”
