Acting quickly on the Supreme Court directive last week, the Tamil Nadu cabinet met on Sunday evening and resolved to recommend to governor Banwarilal Purohit to release all the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case under Article 161 of the Constitution.
