The encounter took place after two C60 commando units from south Gadchiroli were dispatched for the Tadgaon-Bhamragarh forest region. DIG, Naxal Range, Ankush Shinde confirmed the deaths of two divisional commanders- Shinu and Sainath - in the encounter.
