The knotty issue of ‘judicial discipline and propriety’ in contradictory judgments on land acquisition being tossed between two three-judge benches of the Supreme Court got further complicated on Thursday with two two-judge benches referring the matter to Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra for resolution by a larger bench.
