A former official of the Allahabad Bank on Friday alleged that the Nirav Modi scam started during the UPA government, and snowballed during the current dispensation, reported ANI. He also claimed that he resigned from his post after being pressured to approve a loan, purportedly to do with Mehul Choksi's Gitanjali Gems.
