A London court on Wednesday rejected fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi's new bail application in connection with nearly $2 billion Punjab National Bank fraud and money laundering case. Nirav Modi has been in custody at Wandsworth prison in south-west London, one of England’s most overcrowded prisons, since his arrest on March 19.
