The daily tourist footfall in Kurukshetra, the battleground of Mahabharata, has more than doubled in the past four years, while events like Gita Mahotsav have witnessed a 10-fold increase in tourists between 2014 and 2018, according to Kurukshetra Development Board's Madan Mohan Chhabra.
