SC allowed I-T dept to proceed against Rahul and Sonia Gandhi by reopening their tax assessments for 2011-12 in connection with National Herald case. SC said it was not possible for it to adjudicate the Gandhis’ plea this month. Rahul and Sonia had approached the apex court after Delhi high court turned down their plea.
