Three months ago local saffron leaders of Bulandshahr wrote a letter alleging that inspector Subodh Kumar Singh was in the "habit of creating obstacles for Hindu religious functions". Confirming that BJP functionaries wrote the letter, Sanjay Shrotiya, BJP's Bulandshahr city general secretary said that "there was a resentment in the Hindu Samaj."
